Half Way Home, Inc., a nonprofit residential sober living program for women, is always accepting applications for supervisory staff. Shift coverage includes: days, evenings, overnights, and weekend positions. Our program has the potential to support full-time and part-time schedules. Applicants must be willing to submit to random drug screens, have a valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance. Send resumes or employment inquiries to Dana Cook, PO Box 54, Crawfordsville, IN 47933 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks to a donation from The Franciscan Health Services, we have been provided money that will enable us to pay for instructors for the classes we offer. If you would be willing to teach a class for us, please contact Dana Cook at 765-376-9075 or to discuss possible classes. We also have curriculum and lesson plans for several of our classes and would love to have someone review these materials and teach the class. The classes meet one time per week on a Sunday afternoon for 1 hour to 1-1/2 hours for one to six weeks, depending on the class topic.
We are always looking for volunteers for our program. Many of our women could use a "mentor" from the community because they have limited friends and/or family in the area. We always need people willing to teach our classes or offer their expertise. We can use volunteers to tutor our women who are working on their GED or HSE, and we can always use volunteers to just come into our program and get to know these women on an individual basis. Please call us at 765-307-2995 or email us at to schedule a visit.
